In the North-Western part of Bulgaria there is a small but quite popular village inhabited by Banat Bulgarians. There is only one road leading to Bardarski geran and it ends up there – you cannot go astray from your route and get into there by accident. However, everyone who has reached this village would keep in their heart a memory of a meeting with the wonderful world of this small community. Nowadays, only 635 people live there but their way of life is worthy of describing Bardarski geran as a “capital of the Banat Bulgarians”.
